Boiling World Reviews
Absolute favorite place to go eat hot pot! Love how the wait is not really long and the flavor is delicious! The service was great. The inside is very spacious which I really appreciated!
AYCE shabu place in Ontario! This place has a huge space and the ambiance is pretty nice and clean for a AYCE shabu restaurant. There are so many options of side dishes to choose from and different meat choices. Since it is AYCE, they have a buffet style area where you can grab your veggies, meatballs, fish balls, dessert, etc so you don't really need your server unless you want to order meat. The quality of all the food was pretty good and appreciate how they maintain the buffet area to be clean.
Consistently good, been coming here for years. This spacious and powerfully air- conditioned AYCE always hits. Wide selection of seafood, veggies, noodles and many more sides. Thinly sliced meats are offered in 3 rounds, cooked up quickly on a broth of your choosing. Kombu's my go-to, tasting like a good udon noodle broth. Take your time and enjoy Boiling World's vast offerings. Shout out to Fendi, who seated and served our big party of 14 & even managed to get in a selfie with some of the fam!
How have people given this restaurant fewer than 5 stars?!? They literally serve everything, and it's up to you how it's flavored and cooked. If you don't like the food here, you don't like your own cooking! You choose a broth base (from 10), then create a sauce from 10ish options (sesame, soy, yuzu, ponzu, etc). Then you order meats off the menu (from another 10ish options like lamb, brisket, pork belly). Then you top it all of by adding vegetables, seafood, noodles, and other add-ins from a bar that's literally 60 feet long. They have *everything*! Add to this feast that there are many servers and they're all sweet and knowledgeable. I could eat here dozens of times and never have the same thing twice, all of my own creation. I love it!
My current favorite hot pot restaurant. This is a large capacity, spacious restaurant near the Ontario Mills Mall. There are many choices available at this AYCE establishment. The buffet ingredients are fresh and plentiful. Depending whether you are here for lunch or dinner, the selections will vary slightly. There are more seafood and meat choices available during dinner hours but lunch items are still very satisfying. It is a great meal no matter what time you come. The number of broths available makes it hard to choose sometimes. I usually get the Chinese herbal, pork tonkatsu, or miso broths. The Chinese herbal broth is an acquired taste if you did not grow up with this particular medicinal flavor profile. This broth definitely has plenty of the dried herbs (which you don't eat) and a generous amount of goji berries and red dates (which you do eat). So healthy. An appetizer comes with the meal. It is per person so everyone can select a different one to share. I especially liked their jap chae which is very well made and flavorful. It is a good portion size as well. Gyoza is good here, too. Meats are limited to three choices per person per round. The meat selections can be different. I usually select tripe, pork belly, beef bulgogi, and beef brisket although I have tried all the other meats available. The beef, except for bulgogi, are shaved paper thin and limited to a few slices per portion. It is not a problem since the meat cooks in seconds and you can order more since it is AYCE. The beef bulgogi is especially flavorful so select that if you prefer thicker cut slices. The seafood items at the buffet are plentiful both during lunch and dinner hours. I usually get the lobster balls, mussels, fresh fish filets, and scallops. There are plenty of veggies and noodles to choose from. One of my favorites is taro. At the end of the buffet is the sauce bar where you can make your own dipping sauces. I always choose the sesame paste and grated daikon radish as my saucing choice. There is also a great fresh tasting kimchi at the buffet as well as a refreshing marinated cucumber banchan. A small portion of ice cream is included with the meal. I usually choose black sesame but the green tea and mango flavors are good as well. There is a small spoon in the lid of the ice cream cup. The staff is very polite and friendly. Meats are replenished quickly. Plenty of parking in the lot. The times I went to the restaurant were during the hours after lunch and before dinner. It is usually not busy then so you can ensure that your meal is leisurely and a good experience.
It looks like there was some staffing changes or we went on a day the A-team was working because the positive change in the attentiveness of the servers made for an extremely pleasant dinner. It wasn't too busy as we had come in early and there was no wait which was cool because there always is a little bit of a wait time . We were greeted so professionally and friendly and we were checked in on for drinks and food attentive enough to have us saying to each other that the service has gotten so much better since the other times we had been here! It's always pretty clean so I appreciate that and the food is consistently good. I am also happy to see they brought back chrysanthemum leaves which is one of my favorites!
This was my second time coming to boiling world, first time was with friends, and this time with my lovely boyfriend hehe. He wanted to treat me out since I was having an especially shitty day, and this dinner certainly made it better! Food: good standard all you can eat hot pot. I initially got miso broth, which was a bit too bland, but the spicy miso broth was superb. There are so many options to choose from including veggies and seafood and sauces, seemed like everything was well maintained and fresh too. You can only get 6 plates of meat per round, and they are so very thinly sliced. But we didn't even actually get to the 3rd last round because of how full we were! The appetizers fries and tteokbokki were not that tasty, I'd recommend you skip and instead just get more from the display. Their dessert strawberry mousse and tiramisu were surprisingly really good, as well as the mini icecream cups they offer at the end. I left feeling so satisfied Price: about $38 per person, and drinks are separate. It is expensive, but given how much food we ate, I suppose we got our money's worth Ambiance: very large and spacious inside with many booths and tables. A whole long row of food with variety of toppings that you can dunk in your broth. Each table has the hot stove, and you can control the heat settings if you want to slow down or speed up the cooking process Service: great, our server checked in on us frequently to make sure we got all our orders. If there was a slight delay, he'd make sure to circle back to confirm we got what we needed Parking: restaurant is located in a outdoor strip mall plaza with associated decent sized parking. We went on a Monday evening, and there were plenty of parking spots available

ABSOLUTE BEST! THEY SERVE YOU THE WORLD; YOU BOIL IT. Looking for a shabu-shabu or a hot-pot fix? Look no further and try this place out! Don't let the over simplified name of the restaurant stop you from experiencing a world of goodness that will have you coming back for more! I've been here plenty of times and should have wrote this review already; therefore, this restaurant deserves a 5 star. I've frequented many places like Boiling Point, the Happy Lamb, and other similar places; yet, Boiling World has always gave an amazing dining experience. I come here about once a month and have not been disappointed once - so I'm definitely a loyal customer. Here you can get creative with the wife variety of veggies, meats, and other fixings offered. Their dining experience, unlike the majority of other places, will be an All You Can Eat experience with your choice of broth and meets. Because there is so much to this restaurant, I can only cover the highlights that have made the biggest difference. Pros: 1) The dining experience is ALL YOU CAN EAT! Not many Shabu or Hot Pot restaurants can brag about this. Therefore, there are NO confusing menu sets to choose. NO pre-set meal pricing to worry about. NO limitations! One price gets you everything edible in the restaurant! 2) You can try multiple broths. From Tonkatsu, Miso, Spicy Miso, Szechuan, Tom-Yum, Pho, and a Vegetarian option broth. You try one, or you can try them all! You can even go half-half. My favorite, for example, is the half Szechuan and half Tonkatsu. Want to make things spicy to your liking? Ask for a side of Szechuan base to add to that Tom-Yum or Pho. 3) The meat menu is well rounded. There are plenty of options. They got all the basics covered. I usually stick to all the beef options (about 6 different cuts to choose from). 4) The experience comes with a buffet style bar with all the veggies, noodles, seafood, and toppings to eat to your heart and stomach's delight. An amazing variety! Even just for the noodles, there are at lest 5 noodles to choose from! As for veggies such as mushrooms... they have like 5 available! Shiitake, Enoki, Rat Ear Mushrooms, Portabello, and your standard white/brown mushroom. Moreover, there are cut fruit, and sweets available. Lastly, there are dips and toppings available and enough to get creative with! 5) Their drinks are BOMB!! They have a bar with many choices! I honestly would just come here for a drink because their drinks are just that great! Plus, their prices on the drinks lean to the more reasonable side when it comes to pricing. The loaded lime margarita is epic, and the lemon drop martini is intoxicating! 6) You get ice cream at the end of your experience! You get at least 7-8 flavors to choose from! SIMPLY AMAZING! Cons: 1) The drive to such an awesome restaurant could be much shorter. 2) You may just have to bring your own bib and handkerchief, because... YES, it can get messy. It is soup after all. 3) You'll be so excited to dine, the wait for your broth to reach the table will feel like an eternity although it can take about 10 mins. But the wait is worth it! Last but not least! All the workers/servers and hosts here are so diligent, courteous, careful and friendly! Miguel is awesome if you happen to dine in when he is there! The owner/manager is really cool and friendly too! He was spotted helping customers here and there during my last visit. That was really cool to see. I hope this place stays in business for a very long time and remain in the Inland Empire. Thank you for existing, Boiling World.
